i made the last half of this album in a day. i made the first half in the course of around a week. i made a lot of endless tape loops and messed with reverb/delay and other tape shenanigans. i recycled a lot of songs and loops from "recovering ancient artifacts from internet friendships", released and scrapped.

if i'm being honest, this album has been about the range of emotions we can feel in such a short amount of time. i've felt love, dependency, rage, sadness, euphoria, disgust, emptiness, forgiveness and confusion in the past month, all at extreme measure, in the past month or so. time has felt short and long at the same time. a day has felt like a month, and a week has felt like a few hours. i've realized my consciousness isnt linear and consistent, neither is my personality. but that's what makes everything really cool; it constantly changes.

at some point i'm going to have to accept that the world changes and nothing stays the same. that's always been a hard concept for me. i like consistency, and i like the comfort of routine. but one day that'll change, and i'll be able to accept that the world can be ever-changing.
